ISRAEL CLAIMS IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER DEAD, TEHRAN DENIES

ISRAEL has said that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, may have been killed following recent military strikes, a claim that Iranian authorities have firmly dismissed as false.

Speaking after the attacks, Israeli officials suggested that intelligence gathered from the strikes indicated that Khamenei did not survive the bombardment, which reportedly targeted strategic locations linked to Iran’s leadership and military command structure.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that there were “strong indications” pointing to the death of the Iranian leader, adding that the operation also struck senior figures within Iran’s security and nuclear establishments.

However, no independent or visual confirmation has been released to support the claim.

IRAN PUSHES BACK

Iranian authorities quickly rejected Israel’s statements, insisting that the Supreme Leader remains alive. Government officials described the reports as misleading and accused Israel of spreading disinformation amid heightened tensions.

Iran’s Foreign Minister said Khamenei was safe and continuing his duties, while state-aligned media echoed the denial, labeling the Israeli assertions as part of a psychological warfare campaign.

RISING REGIONAL TENSIONS

The disputed claim comes as hostilities between Israel and Iran intensify, with both sides exchanging strikes and warnings.

Iran has reportedly responded to the attacks with missile and drone operations aimed at Israeli and allied targets across the region.

Global leaders and international observers have expressed concern over the escalating situation, warning that unverified claims and retaliatory actions could further destabilize the Middle East.

As of now, there has been no independent confirmation regarding the fate of Iran’s Supreme Leader, leaving the situation uncertain and under close international scrutiny.
